Scholarship Reminder
Students in the church family who are interested in applying for one of the Pollocksville Presbyterian Church scholarships should review the scholarship information included with this week’s PollyPress. Available scholarships include the Bender Family Scholarship, the Burkot Family Scholarship in memory of Mary Jo, Susan, and Wendy, and the Tom and Sybil Harriett Scholarship.

Worship And Fellowship
Communion will be part of Sunday Morning Worship on July 26, 2026. Adult and Children’s Sunday School are now at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday, with the Adult Sunday School class meeting in the church library.
Coffee, cookies, and conversation will return in August and September on the third Sunday of each month after worship. Volunteers are needed to provide cookies and help make coffee.
Choir practice will not meet on Wednesday evenings through the rest of July. Choir practice is scheduled to resume Wednesday, August 5.
Green Team Tip
The PPC Green Team encourages the congregation to reduce single-use plastics by limiting purchases of water in plastic bottles and using refillable containers whenever possible. Greeters And Ushers
Greeters and ushers are needed for August 30 and for September. PPC is a welcoming church, and volunteers are encouraged to consider signing up in the narthex to help greet those entering for worship.
Announcements And Reminders
Sunday worship is at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and streams live on Facebook, YouTube, and the PPC website. Adult Sunday School and Children’s Sunday School meet Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
The Breathe and Movement Class meets Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. For more information or to register, email maleray1@gmail.com.

Filling Station
The Filling Station continues to need support through food donations, monetary donations, and volunteer time. Current requested items include peanut butter, jelly, pasta, canned vegetables, juice boxes, and pop-top soups. Food collections from PPC and local churches support the pantry effort.

Joys And Concerns
