Here we are in between Palm Sunday and Easter. Holy Week is full of twists and turns. One day, Jesus is celebrated coming into Jerusalem. Then soon after, he shares a last meal with his friends and is betrayed. Handed over to Pilate, crucified, died, and buried.
Yet, it doesn’t stop there! And that is Good News! Good News that God will do whatever it takes to restore our brokenness. The brokenness that seemed to have the final say, but was defeated through Christ’s selfless act of love.
God’s love has the final say. God’s love has broken down the walls that divide us. Through Christ’s faithful work of his life, death, and resurrection, we need not fear!
And that, siblings in Christ, is indeed Good News!
